More Credit Card Rewards

July 22nd, 2016 at 01:46 pm

It might be another $2,500 year after all.

I got an AmEx offer for a $250 reward and then the next day dh got an offer for a $500 reward. His offer was an American Express Gold, which is generally a business card offer or has a very high fee. Is the first time I've seen it with the annual fee waived.

AMEX lost a major client when they couldn't come to agreement with Costco. It seems reasonable to assume millions of CC users dropped/stopped using AMEX in their credit line-up. Given their limited base Millennialls likely choose more popular cards, they don't care about the once snob appeal.

    Yay for you!

American Express Gold is the one my husband was targeted for earlier this year. Have the points, just haven't redeemed yet.

Good bonu!. Amex, as I'm sure you know, MM, has superb customer service and will go to bat for the customer. Peace of mind. If I needed a business CC account I'd be very pleased to go with Amex.

    Nice bonus possibility!
