Disneyland in Just 1 Day???

Disneyland Story:

I just wanted to say it was funny because I do not know how many people have asked about our Disneyland trip this weekend and said, "How long are you going? What? Just ONE day????" I am trying to think back and I only ever remember going one day. In fact, I thought we were splurging, because with the toddler we figure we better stay 2 nights. Drive up, sleep, 1 day at DL, sleep, and all day Sunday to drive home. IT's about all we can squeeze in. & then the whole, with gas so insane, "Isn't it cheaper to fly????" I budgeted $60 for gas and that will do. Get me 3 airline tickets for $60 and you got me sold, I live down the street from the airport - LOL. & I think 1 day in DL is about all my son can handle. I know he will be EXHAUSTED. Even flying is such an ordeal I don't think it would save much time. We could fly down Friday afternoon, sleep, go to DL one day, and fly back Sunday. Doesn't really lend to more time at DL.

Granted, in all my one day trips to DL, we have never been to CA Adventure, or Legoland, or any of the new parks. Maybe sometime down the road - in years - we'll make a week of it with the kids. For now 1 day at DL is more than enough to entertain the 3 of us. & yeah I think we are going more for us than the kid - LOL. Baby gets to stay home with grandma. Phew...

Hey, wow! I actually got mentioned in someone else's blog. Well, don't I feel special... I think. Big Grin
For what it's worth, my own camcorder at the time was just a bit under 3k when I bought it... and I don't make six figures. So, obviously I have no place to talk. If anything, I was merely jesting that I share the similar lusts as your husband does. You know, nudge nudge wink wink and all that.

Beyond that, I certainly would not dare make any assumptions about anyone's spending habits. Not just because I have no place to talk, but because I don't think anyone can truly know anyone else using nothing but the brief blurbs of internet text that are available.

In fact, it makes perfect guy logical sense to me to spend some money on a good camcorder in order to get quality footages of your baby. I mean, those are the video footages that you will take with you for decades to come.

Anyway, I hope there were no hard feelings and that we can all get along swimmingly. I do admit that I have a corny sense of humor though, and that may or may not translate well online. I'll try to behave though, but don't say I did warn ya. Wink

Don't worry about it. It didn't really bug me at the time. I have really enjoyed your posts and our banter, maybe why your comment didn't bug me as much. Harder to swallow when someone you haven't really chatted with makes a "judgement." But as I started thinking back to assumptions your comment came to mind. As an example.

Don't worry, I am a sensitive person overall but it wasn't really bugging me that much. Just felt I had to say something and move on. Not gonna dwell. & please please please don't feel censored around me - LOL. I truly have enjoyed your comments.

Hehe. I saw that you even placed a response over at my blog.

Thank you for your heart-felt concern. Everything is cool... like Fonzie... before he jumped the shark. Big Grin
And yes, I think your hubby and I would get along very well... in a giggling school girls visiting a candy store sort of way. But don't worry, we won't leave you out. We still need someone to hold the camera and video tape us....

I'm sorry, I was just teasing of course. Can someone please untie me now?
